An original photostat model sheet from the MGM Studios Tom and Jerry short Dog Trouble (1942). Featuring the earliest final designs for Spike, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the production of the film. The overall measurements of the piece are 8"x19" with the imagery covering the majority of the sheet. This photostat model sheet is in good condition and exhibits some wear from age including a vertical fold down the center of the sheet, creases along the right edge of the sheet, and minimal edge wear. Dog Trouble is the first appearance of Spike in the Tom and Jerry cartoons.
