A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring a great close-up of Forge and Warlock devising a plan at a diner table, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season five episode "The Phalanx Covenant, Part 1," which aired on September 7, 1996. Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character images measuring 4.5"x4" and 4"x3.25", the cel is in very good condition with minor scratches, surface wear, light line fade, and paper transfer to the reverse of the paint from studio storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for display purposes.
