A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997). Featuring Cyclops and Jean Grey embracing after Rogue saves Jean, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season one episode "The Cure," which aired on February 20, 1993. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 7.5"x5.5", the cel is in very good condition with light surface wear, including scratches, minor black line fade, and paper backing transfer stuck to the reverse of the paint from storage and studio use. The cel has been paired with a color copy reproduction background for presentation purposes.
